20 years of Scouting!

First camp of the year!

The Pioneer Camp is our first camp of the year. Weheaded to Fundy National Park early Saturday morning to learn about stoves, lanterns and fires. The stars were amazing that night!

Scouting skills...knife sharpening, axes, camp stoves, tarp rigging lanterns, compasses, and more

Great camp fire hosted by the Park Staff.

Emily told us "We had an awesome time at the Pioneer Camp. We sharpen axes and knives, lit stoves and lanterns without burning off any eye brows and did many other awesome things. The funniest part, for me was when we played hide and go seek tag. I was running away and wasn't looking where I was going. I turned to see a rope and slowed down to stop but then I remembered I was being chased. As you can imaging I ran straight into the rope and did what one of my friends called clothes-lining myself. That night I was invested into St. Michael's scout troop for better or for worse......"
