An early blast of snow and cold forced the veteran and parade organizers inside. St. Michaels Scouts decided to go to the
Humphrey Memorial anyway as it would be really crowded indoors.
About 30 additional people were there waiting for the ceremony. Scouts welcomed them, and our ceremony began. Michael
and Emily read the Honour Role, we observed two minutes of silence, and Garth spoke briefly how important it is to remember
sacrifices and not to take all that we have for granted. Others before us made it possible.
Gina read In Flanders Field, and Patrick end with a prayer.
